The curvature series is a result of industrial folding practice. We discovered a certain aesthetic in a raw stage of industrial design process and tried to bring it out as it is. After the decision to use metal-folding process, each curvature, radius and surface was practiced continuously considering manufacturer’s tooling environment and available tooling conditions.The early stage of designs lacked efficiency to be realised as a product. As we worked on the project, however, we came to clearly understood the process and found the final results of three dimensional curvature which are beautiful and functional.
